Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie so go easy on me please :)

I'm going to buy an "audio interface" and a pair of "studio monitors" for music production.

I was interested in FOCAL ALPHA 50 Studio Monitors --> http://www.focal.com/it/alpha/493-alpha-50.html (http://www.focal.com/it/alpha/493-alpha-50.html)

My problem is that these speakers can be connected in "BALANCED MODE" only with an XLR cable...
this may sound stupid but i think that almost every AUDIO INTERFACE only has normal TRS outputs...so the question is how can i use those FOCALS with the audio interface using the BALANCED cables?

Hi,

Balanced connections with XLR is the same as with TRS connectors. These are wired one-to-one, a very common conversion. You can buy adapter cables anywhere for cheap. Please do make sure though you get the right type of XLR plug: needs to be male to fit the female connector.

Also, on the back picture you can see that these monitors also have unbalanced inputs with a RCA connector.
