Need suggestion for "Wardrums" midifiles and SFZ/SF2 free files

For simplicty, suppose that I have to compose the soundtrack for X-Com Enemy Unknown

This is an unusual "style" for me, so i'm looking to make the starting easier.... The cinematic "wardrums" rolls will be a major part of the job. I'd like to have some free midifile to use as "quickstarter" to test various Drumkits in SFZ or Soundfont format and set the general "ambient" of the track. Then i'll proceed to write the original drum parts.

So, I'm asking for tips about FREE midifile for the drums (i mean: no money needed, royalty free is not an issue as they will never be used for any final version), and also for good, powerful SFZ/SF2 drumkits (non necessary "realistic" as it is for a "sci-fi" project), free as well.

Any help?
