Don't know if I'm not looking in the right place.
I would like to assign a track to a midi channel.
If I set up my Audigy as a player, I get asked for a midi channel. However, if I load up Kontakt, the question does not arise. This means that each track is on channel one, and I've got to load up kontakt for each track in a midi file - up to 32 tracks - 32 players to load. Thats a lot of overhead.
I would like to assign the tracks individual channels.
Thus say tracks 1 to 8 get assigned channels 1 to 8 on player 1
tracks 9 to 16 get assigned channels 1 to 8 on player 2 etc
Is this do-able?

LUNA Free does not support multi-timbral synths, i.e. it indeed only sends data on channel 1 to a synth.
With LUNA Unlimited, you can set the target midi channel for each part, so then you can use all 16 channels of a single kontakt instance.
