I've got a sequencer part set up with a synth in rack 1. How can I route a second sequencer part directly to Rack 2 with a separate synth...bypassing rack 1? Everything I've tried just brings input into rack 1.

Okay, let's say you've got Ian Webster's BoB in Rack A and Guido Scognamiglio's MrRay73 in Rack B. Doesn't really matter...
Right-click BoB in Rack A and select "Focus". Draw in a new sequence in the sequencer.
Repeat for MrRay73.
Now, when you click each "New Sequence", you'll see they're assigned to the appropriate synth.
If you really want to send the sequence to the Rack, focus on the rack rather than the synth.
If you already have the sequence parts in place, you need to select the part, then use the part panel to select a new target.

Or: just select the new sequencer part (which now also goes to rack 1) and select the right Target (=> rack 2) for it in the Part Property Panel at the top right of the main window
