Ah, ok
FYI: The extra outs of a rack are used for any sends that are plugged into the rack slots.

If the Rack had still been called "Rack A", it would have been clearer...

Because then the first screen shot would have made it obvious what the confusion was.

Ah, i see.
The auto naming of racks is a nice feature imho:
If a rack has no user name, then it takes the name of the first plug.
But it's easy to name it otherwise if you want.
Yes, in this case the auto naming may have caused some confusion.
There is a note on the wishlist to also display the module icon into the module box. That will be an improvement too.

To be consistent imo with the namegiving of the modular areas i would like to see also the words : "modular area" behind name of the deep editor presetmutools wrote:Ah, i see.

example : a preset autopan (MUX)..the modular editor(deep editor) is now autonamed:AutoPan
I like to see that this chance into : AutoPan Modular Area
Further is suggest to rename the name "Modulair Area" via menu Edit in:
Session Modular Area
How about this

Yes i also think the name should be finetuned.janamdo wrote:To be consistent imo with the namegiving of the modular areas i would like to see also the words : "modular area" behind name of the deep editor preset

Options:
Session Modular Area
Modular Session Area
Session Modular View
Modular Session View
...
Others?
Which one sounds most easy and self-explaining?

"View" (with my DBMS hat on) implies there are other views of the same data available, so I'm against those two.
"Area" is OK. "Modular" is the adjective that explains what "Area" means, so "Modular Area" works. "Session" says that it's a per-Session entity, so goes in front of the pair: "Session Modular Area".
(I was originally going with MSA but talked myself around... )
Downside: SMA is a baby milk formula...

"Session Modular Area"
Will update the app and the docs.
Note that shortcuts to "Toggle Modular Area" will have to be updated.
