Say your wrote a piece of techno style music using MU.LAB and it has no vocals.
Is it still a "song" or track or a composition or what?
What would you call it?

It's a track, a composition and in my book it's a song too, although that could be discussed because the word "Song" is from "Singing" and this piece lacks vocals..TheGuysanIdiot wrote:

Of course, being "Techno style"... is it still "music"?
(JOKE! Okay?! )

Hi All,
This was really to answer the question raised by [Trancit].
The forum users are still here in the background, it is quite normal to get a small amount of comments but a larger view count.
I still believe that the forum seems "quiet" for the reasons I and others posted in the "mux" topic.
When Jo makes a comment on the forum the view number increases as we are all keen to see what he has been up to.
I for one am glad Jo is spending less time on the forum so that he can put all his efforts into M4 dev. For each line of text he writes here is one less line of code for M4.
Anyway as I do not use vocals in my music I think I shall call my stuff "Tracks".
M3.x.x is stable in my opinion and the forum should buzz into life when M4 testing begins.
Keep the faith.
Bye for now!
