MuLab 4.3.12 pre-release is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/cedar

What's changed since MuLab 4.3.10:
  • The Sampler and MultiSampler modules now properly save their pitch depth and portamento settings.
  • Fixed a couple of potential probs wrt the 64 bit version.
  • Info menu -> Tutorials link was broken. Fixed.
  • Finetuned support for external drag-drop.
  • New wonderful Fairlight Syn Vox emulation preset by Andreas D.
  • Fixed a possible mem leak when using audio parts.
  • Renamed remaining "Wet/Dry" parameters to "Dry/Wet" so all of them are consistent.
  • Finetuned auto MIDI focusing when activating a module editor window.
  • In some cases, popup menus could contain empty group elements. They're removed now for user friendliness.
  • Sample context menu: "Embed Into Session" renamed to "Embed". Because it also applies to preset files.
  • Deep Modular Editor: When holding [Ctrl] to erase a module, cursor didn't always show the proper eraser cursor.
  • MUX Play Editor: When customizing the layout and resizing the top/left/top-left of a component, the component was not repositioned as requested.
  • MUX Play Editor: When dropping modules the module button sometimes had an odd color.

Hi all,

Is it just me, or is right-click broken in the OSX Version 4.3.12?

Specifically:
can't right click in the rack slots to change VST instruments
can't click in empty rack slots to add VST effects

I've tried a few times with a range of old and new musessions, including New and Templates.

Double click seems a bit "clunky" too.

Right click worked for me using both Apple's wireless trackpad and first generation wireless mouse.

Double-checked here too, all working fine.
Also: Code-wise nothing changed in that context.

How do you mean?

Hey it's 2 times something with the mouse.
Are you sure it's not the mouse itself?
How does it respond elsewhere i.e. OSX and other apps?

Thanks for the quick reply. I restarted the machine (it had been a while).

Everything seems ok now. Sorry to bother you.

What's the name and category of that "New wonderful Fairlight Syn Vox emulation preset by Andreas D"? Just so don't have to try all those presets with all those weird names

It's in the Leads sub-folder.

Which weird names?

Ah, I was looking in pads, anyway, found it, it does sound great, particularly within the third and fourth octaves, reminds me of Art of Noise :)
Twenty years ago one still needed that huge synth that cost a fortune, and now all it takes is the software, amazing :D Well, I assume Fairlight is no longer in business, anyway

Some presets bear names that in my view don't fit or at least seem random. Like the funeral bass or mellow pad, I just don't see the connection there... The pad does not sound mellow at all to me.
Never mind, at least 95% of all those presets are inappropriate for my music anyway :hihi:

Jo, when I use MicroTonic and I try to drag the Midi pattern from it to MuLab I can't drop it anywhere. I need to export it as a Midi file and then import it into the right track.

Just me? :help:
MuLab-Reaper of course :D

Aye, I'd love to be able to drag patterns from BFD Eco / Geist into MuLab, works with most other DAWs

Hope to be able to check this soon.

MuLab 4.3.15 (coming soon) will have further finetuned support for external drag-drop. Should work fine with MicroTonic, Geist, EzDrummer, ... hopefully with all of them now.
