Hi Mu Tools team,
I have some questions regarding MUX and its VST-plug-in possibilities:
1.) Is with "Modulate any VST parameter" meant, the VST parameter of third party plug-ins or only MUX VST parameters?
2.) Is the modulation of any VST parameter (s. 1.) the automation like in hosts or is it only via midi cntrl (resolution of 128)?
3.) Is it possible to use a MIDI-note form host to MUX to trigger e.g. an envelope in MUX, which then automate a MUX or third party VST-plug-in parameter within MUX every key stroke?
4.) How many input audio channels has MUX effect plug-in (more than 2) when loaded into a VST 2 host (e.g. Ableton Live) ?
5.) Is it possible to use MUX in a VST2 host (e.g. Ableton Live) and MUX uses then 2 audio channels (from host to MUX) for audio-manipulation and 2 other audio channels (from host to MUX) as sidechain for the controlling of the audio-manipulation within MUX sending then back the result into the host?
Best Regards

Also VST parameters. The module to use is the Event Generators -> Parameter Event Generator.chrom wrote:I have some questions regarding MUX and its VST-plug-in possibilities:

You can set the resolution yourself, so it can be much finer than MIDI's 128 steps. Is the modulation of any VST parameter (s. 1.) the automation like in hosts or is it only via midi cntrl (resolution of 128)?
Yes.Is it possible to use a MIDI-note form host to MUX to trigger e.g. an envelope in MUX, which then automate a MUX or third party VST-plug-in parameter within MUX every key stroke?
2 stereo inputs, so these can be used as 4 mono inputs. How many input audio channels has MUX effect plug-in (more than 2) when loaded into a VST 2 host (e.g. Ableton Live) ?
