Yes and no.
It can be used as a real little tool.

The demo project contest is still on, but it's not about 'any type of song', it's about songs that are really sounding very good and are a great demonstration of the creative and sonic power of MuLab. Such demo songs must sound very convincing to new users who also want to make music

I read earlier that the white noise (when exceeding four tracks) is acceptable when submitting your demo. Is this still the case? On another note, I just found this program a week or so ago and have been delighted by its simple interface! I struggled with learning Logic awhile back and this software has encouraged me to get back in the swing of things. Thanks in advance!

You can use your own. Pls just take into account that the final zip file containing the project and its samples is maximum 20 MB. Thanks.

Here's kind of a nonsensical project. It's called Acheron Crossing.
It's mostly granular, generative and should probably be categorized
as "Sound Design" more than anything.
Anyway, it's pretty typical of the weird kind of crap I like to do with
MuLab. It uses only the factory library. And focus's on the new granular
player and modular feedback delay.
Its named for: Acheron, The River of Woe, AKA The River Stix.
All the names used in it come from Dante's inferno in case anyone
doesn't get that right away
-Cheers
Note: some of the Audio Generators run continuously. If you try this
out it will start processing immediately, it shouldn't use much cpu though.
All the tracks start out at -oo Gain.
