hello jo

i have xfer cthulhu (which is a midi-arp-and-chord-vst) and i want to hook it up in mulab, to use it with a vst-synth.
could you explain how i do that?

thanks a lot!

Hook it up the the main event input. Then use it as the event input on the sound that your are sequencing.
My Setup.
Now goes by Eurydice(Izzy) - she/her

You do this via the MUX(integrated into Mulab): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uOGuki6cjs

In the deep editor hook up your Midi VST to the (main)event input. Then let's say you want to sequence Musynth. Add in Musynth and map it's event input to come from your VST.

I made a video about doing this here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te36zaP1r2s

I also recommend that you look at the sequence player module. It basically plays back any sequence that you assign it. Chords, Arps, etc..

You can also plug it in in the first slot of a rack, then put the synth in slot 2. Then send events to the rack so they'll go to slot 1 and then the midi arped events will go to the synth. More on racks here: http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mux/rack.html
