does anyone use MuLab on an Atom N450 cpu? (It has 1 core, but simulates 2 by hyperthreading.)
Having performance problems in the meantime I experimentally switched the 'Number Of Audio Processor Threads' from "Auto (1)" to "2". And pop goes the weasel! No more dropouts. The cpu meter sank considerably.
But this is what the docs say:
So, what is correct?MuLab 6 Docs wrote:The 'Number Of Audio Processor Threads' defines how many parallel threads will be used for audio processing. This is only relevant on real multi-core/multi-processor systems. Note that hyper-threaded cores are not real parallel multi-cores and should not be taken into account.
