I want to share this little M7 experiment just to share something 8)
The test patches included in this small project are not complete and opitimized, I would not recommend to use them, are prototypes of other patches.
I hope to share soon the complete "concept" project.
Hope you like it.

I like it :band:
Nice drum set + pattern you made there.
Ok if i include it in the factory lib?

To show a concept using a concept, try this file HERE.

This is Taifunk's project in surround, or better in quad!
That file is a wav file, decoded in DTS.
Usually working with your home cinema system by burning the file as an audio cd.
Some take it from a memory stick etc. The system usually recognizes the format automatically. If you hear plain noise, it didn't work (yet).

What I'm doing atm is using Mulab as a quad DAW. When recorded 4 files are created (L, R, Sl, Sr).
Panner, delay and reverb are there in an alpha stage.
In the past I had the problem to find a proper playback system, but a DTS encoder that outputs wav files for CDs solved that.

If someone is interested in this, let me know.

Have fun.

Same here,at the moment I do not have a home cinema system to verify but it is interesting :tu:
Thanks for using my project ,curious to hear how it sounds.

I had this tested on 3 diffent systems and it all worked fine.
I burnt the file(s) on an audio cd and play it from the DVD/BlueRay!

Anyway, if you have a quad system, 2 front + 2 back speakers, attached is the project.
A lot of the stuff is done in the modular area!
At least you will have to change the outputs (Front BSky and Rear Yamaha, as they are called in the project) to your own outputs.
As mentioned, for me this is still the try out phase and it's surprisingly well going thanks to Mulab.

Try the Surround Panners and effects to place your signals. It's fun (for me)!

Added another patch :)
look at the first post for "OverKick"
I'm working on a drum synth patches atm and the result looks interesting,
I removed everything else that I still have to improve and uploaded a very simple version.

That's pretty cool Taifunk,

I think Mux should have a really nice set of drum synths and have been
messing with some designs a bit myself (not so much lately). Although I have had good
results with added clicks, hand drawn amp envelopes (you can literally draw out the shape of
the drum sounds), feedback delay based resonance and FM synthesis.

There are a lot of tools available in Mux for the job, and I think your results so far
are very good. Looking forward to see what you come up with. :)

Tanks pekbro!
glad you like and thanks for the tips,
surely, with Mux we have a great set to create all sorts of sound,
another useful trick is to use the modulations instead of the oscillators using the modulation to audio converter module 8)
I'm experimenting with all sorts of combinations and really got some good sounds,
working on a way to synthesize the hats/cymbals sounds I got that kick sound.
The idea is to use the powerful layering function (25 oscillators :o ) to get the overtones for synthesize the metal percussion,I added another patch "OverHat" if you want to hear an example.
Also added "The kick" an old M6 project, the patches are out of date but sound good :)

Again that's cool, you can get a similar effect with a feedback delay loop.
Have you tried adding click sounds? I found that to go along way towards realism.

Yes, I have another patch that uses a little all these tricks but is not at all optimized,
I prefer to avoid the feedback loop because the module work only outside of the poly synth but it is true you can get the same result :tu:
Anyway, added to the patch different types of clicks and I hope to upload soon :)
