I have MULAB 7 and know that BLEEPS usually mean the ID not matching but is there another reason for BLEEPS as I'm sure my ID is correct.

No other reason. To be sure re-update the .exe and .ID at the same time.

When I download the new 7 software is the ID a part of it.
I'm sorry I might be being thick but is the ID something tied to me and how can I check that the ID file is matched to the software?

No way to check. It's simple: Install them at the same time from the same zip.

From my experience, beeps might start happening if you rename the MuLab EXE file, which can be fixed by naming it back to its original file name.

That's correct. If you rename only one of them they're out of sync.
