What is the best way to share presets between . Mux in Mulab with the Mux as a VST in another host. Including color presets and Mulib stuff.

Also is there a way for Mux as a vst to use Muclips?

Save presets into your user lib and copy your user lib over to the MUX user lib (I don't know if Windows allows linking of directories in the same fashion as linux, but if you can do so it may make that easier. Or program a directory manager that ensures both directories are mirrored... hmm I think I just found a new programming challenge for myself). Yes, MUX can use MuClips so long as everything in the clips rack can be found in your MUX configuration.

Hope this helps,

You can also use a custom user library folder. See the "User Library Folder" preference. That way you can also make it independent from where your MuLab / MUX is installed.

Yes, this is really convenient. I've got my user library under Windows' Documents, which I back up; the program and VST are elsewhere, so I don't have to worry when I install a new version. All presets are shared as both have the same user library configured.

Thanks guys.
So , I move all mutools libraries to one location outside of my vst folder. Then point both Mulab and Mux to that folder.

Muclips are possible in Mux. How cool.

How about color presets?
