Hi
I'm looking into AL and honestly, one of the things that kind of kept me away was the skin (yes, I'm that shallow). I'd like to try out skinning and the skins available, but the location the manual says to put the skins is no longer consistent with Windows 8 file paths. Most notably, there is no longer a top level folder named "Documents and Settings".
Does AL query a system variable for this path and if so, which one?
It could see it going either in
C:\Program Data\Expert Sleepers\Augustus Loop\Skins (the usual solution)
or
C:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Expert Sleepers\Augustus Loop\Skins (the frequent but annoying solution)
Neither seems to work.

It queries APPDATA
Here's the Windows 7 thread, which may or may not help:

lol... I had tried that but hadn't seen the "Prefs" button on the old UI to switch skins. Matter of taste I guess, but it really doesn't cater to today's UI 'cues'. Unfortunately I'm terrible both at graphic design and programming.
