Hi,
I'm really enjoying Augustus. Really great delay/looper plugin !
I'm currently experimenting with the Tape Rec combined with Punch in/out and Pisil/Posil functions, great way to get tempo synced loops going.
Currently every time I re recorded a new loop the previous one gets erased. Is it possible to keep the punch in/out functions to overdub new material in perfect sync (without erasing previous content on the tape) ?
Thanks

That's not currently supported. Good suggestion though.
In the meantime you can control the input level manually to overdub.

Ok, thanks for the answer
Would it be possible with the script engine to automate the input knob ? I went through the documentation but I didn't find anything that could output the tempo/bar/beat of the host running the plugin.
Is it a simple modification to implement ? I would be glad to pay an update just for this function
Thanks again for this great plugin. It's quickly becoming the center of my new music making workflow !

Ok, simple solutions are always the best aren't they ?
I've simply added a few midi clips in ableton to control the input knob. With the beat quantization running I get a decent result. A dedicated overdub switch would still be a nice addition
