How can I disable a plugins GUI and use the hosts default GUI in FL Studio?

Or can I? I'm beta testing a plugin, and to find out why it's misbehaving in FL Studio 11.1 (even though it runs fine in plenty other hosts) and CPU use increases after rendering I need to disable its GUI to see if it could be a GUI issue that only happens in FL Studio. It's easy enough to do in other DAWs, but I can't find a way of doing it in FL Studio 11.1 and I can't find anything about it in the help files either. Can it be done?

EDIT: it turns out I don't need to for the beta testing, he just meant closing the GUI - I didn't pick up on that being all the meant as that has never had any impact on CPU use for me but there you go. Would be nice to know if it's possible or not though.
