I wonder if it's something that runs deeper in our culture than we think...

CMT wrote:Hey Akira, you have to find the right 'SKIPS/Bar Divisions' combination to your taste (an example is 'Pizzirain' preset making triads). I'm not in my studio right now to check the values for you but just let me know if you couldn't solve it so I will help you later.

Hi Walter,
I have overseen the skip lane....GREAT! I can have a 9/8 bar!

Someone asked why I didn't include effects in 'Trans Computer Maschine'.

Well, I wanted it to have a real vintage spirit so here it is, 'TCM' is a core sound maker, it does not need FX to mask things like oscillator aliasing or tasteless filtering.

The core sound is what does matter, then you mix it, add FX and so on, just like Ralf, Florian, Wolfgang and Karl did under Conny's advice.

BTW, there are nice FX plug-ins in the DC2012 suitable to enhance 'TCM' in the mix (some had my vote).

Bye for now, enjoy,

Walter

I agree :) Beautiful machine, it got my vote :)

Ah! Mac! Name from the past!

I remember well the album you made with the ElektroStudio bundle. [Anyone got news on Robert of late?]

Can't wait to hear what you cook up with this little lovely...
None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.

I think the name had krafty origins:

Trans Europe Express
Computerwelt
Die Mensch Maschine

Hey there! :) yeah, I know I kind of disappear now and then... and I must admit all I've been able to do in forums for the past year or two is lurking a bit, the amount of spare time in my life seems to be shrinking every day :(

Oh, you remember :o how nice :) (here's a shamelessly self-promoting link, for those who don't know it http://www.macvibes.com/CDAELECTROIDE.html ) As to Robert, I've been wondering myself... the email address on his website is still inactive :? I sincerely hope he is well.

Actually, I've been toying with the idea of making an album using only Arp vst emulations and Arp-inspired vst instruments. If I do, not sure when, though, this will certainly be featured on it - it's got an impressive sound quality and personality! :)

Trans Computer Maschine v1.07 released - It's smoother!
-------------------------------------------------------

Hi everybody,

Here's probably the last update for the KVRDC12. Updates after the contest might come with added features.

The v1.07 fixes are related to subtle clipping issues, probably unnoticeable for most people but I'm sure 'golden ears' will appreciate such improvement:

- Fixed high mixer levels causing internal clipping.
- Fixed Triangle and Saw-Triangle waves making 'clicks' when changing notes.

Have a good time with 'T-C-M'.

Regards,

Walter

And how many times have you thought that already, Walter? Ever the optimist!

But that's not for at least another week! Don't you know it's mean to tease!!

Well, because I'm obsessive, I tweaked my baby again to be even smoother so tomorrow v1.08 will be available for download...

I know most people checked the plug-in already, it is not my intention improving 'T-C-M' just to have more votes, no.
I've got my own 'challenge', I had many problems and I couldn't keep doing what I started doing ten years ago, I mean programming plug-ins.
I did not know six months ago I will be doing this. It just happened, I had an idea going around my mind and ended with it in the KVRDC12.
What should I do when after spending a day touching up I end with a 'better sounding' version of the plug-in? Keep it at home?
This is freeware, I only want to share it with the world and have some feedback.

Until tomorrow!

Walter

Its quite a very good Idea to present a full-buggy Plugin
and than post all day one or two "bugfix"-messages
at two or more threads :hihi:

Congratulations for the Last Update btw ;)

I'm quite sure all the plug-ins submitted by November the 5th were full-buggy.

Software is made by humans, no gods, so a perfect one is falsely assumed.

Serious software developers are aware that their products always can be improved and updated.

I don't care what the others are doing but I don't think they are not updating because they submitted the ultimate perfect version that can't be improved.

You probably think you are perfect like the non-updated submissions but you are not.

You must learn a lot about being a better person. You are not welcome anymore.
