I should add I haven't spent too much time with it yet but concur I didn't get a whole out of usefulness out of it. Assumed due to my lack of understanding but will try again later and see what goes down then.

The "No sound" issue is because it has a built in gate/envelope follower. Crank the input gain till the sound comes through, and switch the detector setting to "sensitive."Tricky-Loops wrote:I'm still waiting for some feedbacks/experiences. If everybody says "great plugin, makes the greatest sounds ever", then I will think about if I could be too stupid to master it. However, till now it looks better as it sounds...if it sounds at all...GaryG wrote:I remember another plugin that bore a similarity to a Sherman filter bank; that was a tough cookie to master too. I think this layout just needs perseverance.Tricky-Loops wrote:Nope. I'm just wondering why I DO get great sounds out of most DC entries, but nothing out of Philteroid

Thanks for this tip! Now I really get more sound out of it, but nearly everything sounds very distorted, loud and thin (like mono). I see much potential in this plugin (if it's being improved), but ATM it's not usable for me because of the bad sound quality...or does anyone have made a GOOD preset?nineofkings wrote:The "No sound" issue is because it has a built in gate/envelope follower. Hi NoK. I heard that you sell songs. I'm just curious, is it hard to make money selling songs on the internet?nineofkings wrote:Free albums are cool. http://nineofkings.bandcamp.com
How is it done? Any advice for those that has never done it?

Somebody put a 'Trans Computer Maschine' demo in Youtube:

However, to feel it working for real you must have it, set up your MIDI controller(s) and start playing as a kid with a new toy. I'm working on some FAQ document for people with not enough sound synthesis knowledge to dig into it quick.
Enjoy,
Walter

Yes, there is a 32-bit version for Windows Vista/7/8, and a separate 32-bit version for Windows XP. I only uploaded the 64-bit version to KVR since it appears that you can only attach one download to each product. You can get all of the different versions on my website http://www.lvcaudio.com/pluginsspacedad wrote:Clip Shifter supposed to have a 32bit version?

As indication,
i fixed the broken line and added a new link, others will follow ASAP (and AP)
http://www.anak-krakatoa.net/~downl/DC2 ... 1.0_03.zip
the only similar techniques using delay networks are these tuned delay effect (or "comb filters") with a few dedicated effects units like Ohmygod, MFM2 and Oli Larkin's Dronebox , the technique has IMO, a very warm feel and an inherent responsiveness that you won't find with IRs
....but nothing that can offer such a variety of timbres and sympathetic textures
This mainly due to different process chain that followed the basic sound source, usually a huge chord of sine waves that contained the entire notes of scales on a tonality or another, this on a certain amont of octaves
Of course, it would be very useful to create an algorithmic counterpart for these that might be way more flexible but currently, the only workaround i can concretely imagine would be the highest quality of pitch-shift/time-stretch algorithms applied to a middle file for each types of scales than can be then transposed up and down without noticeable artifacts (if possible...and perhaps also shortened and stretched)
This might reduce the volume considerably, but again i don't think a pure algorithmic could even exist !...except though, if a genious mind might read these lines ?

I don't know if its even possible because it is purely a diversion of the convolution processZombie Queen wrote:Penultimate Trilogy -Some of this stuff is interesting, especially IR section, but not really worth the disk space alone for me. If this idea has been reworked into algorithmic reverb, it would be something unique.

Now wait a second... does that mean even though the deadline for sending in entries is over, we still have to get MORE packs in order to test the full Trilogy?
