Unfortunately, since the birth of our little daughter I hardly have time for my hobby.
(Some have certainly already noted this... )
Moreover, we drag in a new flat, soon... this means even more work.
Therefore, my call to You :
The Mormox Imitate needs more sounds !
Everybody which creates a bank with 32 new sounds receives, beside fame and honour ,
a full version of its choice for free of charge :
easy-muug XT V3.8
or easy-protege
or amphetamine V2
For more Infos see > http://www.easytoolz.de/news.html
I put the additional banks then on my page for general public.
Please, send the files (Cubase .fxb Format, with your real name
or pseudonym, as you would want) to following address:
easytools-plugins (at) gmx.de
You get your Plugin so fast as possible.
Many thanks in advantage !!

I enjoyed making a few patches for this Synth (Thanks again for the plugins! ). At first glance I had doubts about it's capabilities, but it's able to produce some dirty sounds and fat basses easily. This is a good plugin for those who want to make their own sound but get easily overwhelmed by most other synths out there, or just want fast results. I think that's the goal of the original machine too.
Just one comment: I'm missing a sine LFO like the original Murmux Initiate has in that video. The plugin seems to only have a saw.
P.S. I just found the price of an original Murmux Initiate. They're probably NOT going to be happy with a free plugin imitation, haha!

I found it: 29nr1killabee wrote:What is the midi cc for shape ? Can't find it in the txt file.
But there is something wwrong with some knobs.
For example: speed and Level under delay section. If you configure them to your controller,
they do not move, or only just a litte bit, like 2 positions from 128 steps.
If I configure the none working knobs to other cc's in the Cubase generic remote, all works, but
if all knobs did function, there was no need to set up a template in generic remote.
Maybe you can fix it in an update once.

Hi
Many thanks for your comments !
First to the LFO:
Unfortunately, there is no Sine wave at the original Synth ?!
However, it would be no problem to insert this. (and some others)
Perhaps, in a new version, after the competition
Now to the Midicontrollers:
I have checked it just over again. I have tested it in Mixcraft and some other DAWs.
There everything ran perfectly.
Maybee there is a conflict with other Midicontrollers...
If it is functioned now, everything is OK, or?
It is probably a problem under Cubase. Cubase is known for his problems
Therefore, I do not use it for a long time any more
Unfortunately, I cannot solve this "problem".
Many greetings NEK-X

Thx for your comment.
I used a BCR2000 and half of the knobs were working the other half had strange behaviour.
Now Cubasis has a very good midi learn function so you can learn all knobs there.
But it gets complicated when I assign cc30 to resonance and you programmed midi cc30 to cutoff.
Why should I do that you ask yourself? Because for the knobs that are not working with your cc's (here cutoff for example)
I need to assign other cc's as the ones you intended, even in the generic remote in Cubase.
Anyway Mormox has no 1000 knobs so it was not the most difficult project.
If someone uses Mormox with Cubase and the BCR2000, here are the setupfiles:

Hmm, you are right! I just looked the specs. I thought I heard a sine (at about 1:30 in the video), but it turns out it's actually a triangle:NEK-X wrote:Unfortunately, there is no Sine wave at the original Synth ?!

Hi nr1killabee
I have dealt once more with the Midi norm.
The Problem is that i used not only free MidiCC's .
The Midinorm intends firmly determined and free MidiCC's.
This can lead to conflicts with some Hardware or DAW´s.
For more Information see here, please:
http://www.midi.org/techspecs/midimessages.php#3
A newer version of Synthedit has a Midilearn function.
Indeed, this version is not very stable.
Therefore, I use an older one, without Midilearn function, but solidly.
I will provide a new version of the synthesizer after the DC, with only free CC's
btw: the Original Murmux Initate has no Midi-functions, except Note on/off ...
Again thanks for your feedback !
@ yiNXs
Yes the Triangle sounds like a Sine-wave.
Actually, I like no modulation of the pitch.
Therefore, I often leave out this function at most of my Creations
Once again thanks for your Patches

It's a "great little VSTi" with the possibility to make a variety of sounds.
It was fun to make that 32 presets bank for you.
The "interaction" between the osc's (with FM) is really cool to make "dirty" sounds.
Tip: Plug a comp/limiter just behind this synth.
Thanks for this freeware. You have my vote !
Good job.
Cheers.

Fun to test. 10 minutes went by fast. Final voting decisions just became a lot harder.
