I fall easily in love with patches like Rnd Filt 1

Nice that it got FM capabilites, and the LFO section got plenty of options for sound mangling.

This one seems like an interesting little synth - but I feel the presets don't do it justice

I think it's capable of a lot more than those iffy arps (they all sound a bit weird when forced to sync bpm)

Gotta love FM

I Agree, Love this one, the patches do let it down, but I like the fact that you can turn on / off each parameter section, pitch wheel is not working in FL Studio though, still a neat little FM synth

This is such a interesting synth with many capabilities to simply create arpeggios and neatly sequences on the fly. In my opinion there was no synth in the past like this, so it seems quiet a novelty.
Furthermore of it´s FM, it can sound like a little beast and softly too. Crio is to fit best for Leads, Basses,
interesting sequences and sfx....I´ll try further now, but I like it very much....

I like this dev's stuff, on this particular one I also found myself tweaking the presets to find a more distinctive sound. Can't quite understand it all. Still pretty decent.

Randomly chose this as the first one to try after downloading all DC14 entries.

First impressions:

The oscillator section is set up in an interesting way. I'm a big fan of mixing waveforms, I feel like I get more unexpected results than if I had a volume knob for each oscillator. The FM capabilities are very cool. I like the idea of set frequencies. And I'm sure that phase reset switch will come in handy sooner or later. The layout is a little confusing, but I'm sure if I read the help file, it would all make sense.

The filter section seems basic at first, but with the added comb function, it can really alter the sound in some nifty ways.

The envelope section really forces you to get creative, because one is all you have to work with. While I'm all about limitations, having a second envelope could really come in handy. But I can make do. It kind of reminds me of working with my Korg Volca Keys. Which is not a bad thing.

The LFO is what I like the most about this synth. The quantize feature really sets it apart from anything else. It's so close to an arppegiator that I found myself trying to find a way to retrigger the envelope on each beat, but then I realized, wait a minuite this is just an LFO. A brilliant LFO at that! However I would still like to see some kind of retriggering option. It can be done, I've done this with my Photon synth(free download here), although it is a pretty unconventional feature for an LFO. But anyhow, regardless of envelope triggering, this LFO is a ton of fun and syncs to beat just right.

All in all Crio is an excellent synth that will probably make its way into some of my projects. I'm not rating it just yet because it's the first plugin I've tried, but overall I'm pretty impressed. Especially by the LFO. It's the one feature that will keep Crio in my plugin folder for awhile. And I'm kind of a plugin minimalist

Hi all, thank you very much for your opinions. All of them are important.
If anyone is disappointed with the default presets, it may be due these reasons:
1- my lack of talent
2- You have not used the mod wheel (Please move it up...)
If somebody continues disapointed with that presets after that, can make one to show me how to make better ones?
I will be attentive to all suggestions
