I tried that. It crashes the Jbridge host and locks the application. When you attempt to close the application, you BSOD Windows 7.

Your only option right now is to run the 32bit host via Jbrdige until a fix is released.

A bump on this one. It's becoming rather annoying as an outstanding bug - it would be nice to use the 64bit plugin on a 64bit OS in what is probably the most stable 64bit DAW (Sonar).

It's the main reason Sylenth1 isn't getting much use on my system

Hello,

I just installed cubase studio 5.1.1 64bit on windows 7 and i'm having a "serious problem" crash with sylenth1 as well.

Any timeframe when this can be cured ?

Look around this forum and the answer probably is: NEVER!
Lennar doesn't seem to be interested anymore in fixes/updates

Lennard said he's working on it; no update means his still busy. I'm confident we'll see something within a few weeks ;)

yeah I find it a bit weird that the site has seen no update since january 2009. Luckily The 32bit is rocksolid and it even works without needing any bridging on my new system.

I kinda think the only thing that's gonna need jbridge here is the waves plugins.

(waiting for ttoz's rant about how Lennard abandoned sylenth1 and is never going to return to this forum)

Yeah, Lennard said this a looooong time ago when many of us were running around the Xmas tree wearing Pampers ;-)

It could also mean he still has enough money from his customers and he's just being lazy :P

uh oh one of these threads

It was exactly the same when everyone was waiting for the Synthedit-free version. Months or even years went by without any updates or information. Everyone just assumed development had stopped. Then *boom*, hell freezes over and out of nowhere an update appears :)

Use 32-bit stuff!!! Even though I have 64-bit Windows 7, I installed 32-bit Reaper with 32-bit Sylenth1 and everything works fine. Hopefully the creator will fix this soon...

I was about to purchase Sylenth1, but after reading that Sylenth1 is currently having problems running on Windows 7 (64) when using Sylenth (64), i.e. when using Cubase 5(X64)/Windows 7. I decided to wait until this is fixed, since I'm planning to use a pure 64-bit environment running Cubase 5 (64) on Windows7 (64) all VST plug-ins have to be 64-bit. No 32-bit VST will be installed on my PC DAW.

Hopefully Lennard will be able to fix this in the very near future.

I would love to see a working 64-bit version of Sylenth1 for Windows 7..

Hopefully soon!

Hi,

I can confirm that the latest 64 bit beta version of Sylenth1 is working ok so far, for me on win7 64 bit, cubase 5.5 64 bit :)

At least it doesn't immediately cause cubase to fall over when I try to load the VST - like the release version does :(

Sylenth1 x64 2.2.1 + Windows7 x64Ultimate + Cubase 5.5 x64 no crashes with multiple instances of Sylenth running.
