Sylenth1 and FL Studios 11 (MAC Air)

Hello,

I am to trying to load the Sylenth1 demo for my Macbook Air. The software I am currently using is FL Studios 11. I have followed the instructions and placed the sylenth1demo.vst in the correct folders. The issue here is that when I open FL Studio, I click Channels->Add One->More... and tried to refresh the list. It does not appear. What am I suppose to do in order for Sylenth1 to appear on the list? I have placed the file in Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST and Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. These two folders were where the installer originally placed them. I also placed the files in the default FL Studios VST folder. I have tried restarting my Macbook, along with FL Studios. I have spent hours looking online for a solution but nothing seems to work.

Could it be that the file is .vst and not .dll?
If so, how do I fix it?
