Of course he releases it AFTER the sale is over.

The new version is almost the same as the old one (minus the new resizable GUIs), what stopped you from demoing the v2?wagtunes wrote:Of course he releases it AFTER the sale is over.

All that work on the gui, and still the minuscule mod matrix. Tsk tsk.

I did demo it and the GUI was too small for me. I wrote him to ask when V3 would be ready and he said not for a month or two. So I passed on the sale with no guarantee the new GUI would be better.lesha wrote:The new version is almost the same as the old one (minus the new resizable GUIs), what stopped you from demoing the v2?wagtunes wrote:Of course he releases it AFTER the sale is over.

I still love the sound of it. Something about it. I don't care what it is but it is!
Now, there is a Sylenth killer... It's not a synth.

There's also improved bank selection (on the Mac at least, I haven't installed the PC version yet) where it seems to know where your banks are and allows you to select easily from a list rather than having to import them. A small but useful workflow improvement.
Usually I don't give a damn about skins but the new default one is much nicer imo.4damind wrote:I like this resizable GUI... seems to be the only improvement or have I missed something?

It's on the PC as well, and definitely one of my favourite improvements.. made me willing to buy sylenth banks again, which I had stopped several years ago for the cumbersome 1980/90's way of loading banks/presets.

Workflow is getting a bit worse as they got rid of the copy/paste buttons in the Osc section - now you have to use a dropdown. Tiny change, I know, but annoying nevertheless. As I remember from Youtube LFO/filter editing has changed also.4damind wrote:I like this resizable GUI... seems to be the only improvement or have I missed something?
