SynthMaster Bugs

Hi folks,

I am starting this thread to keep track of current bugs on SynthMaster. Feel free to post the following information when reporting bugs:

1) Please report 1 Bug per post
2) What is your system specs?
3) What is the host that you are using, and what is its version?
4) Were you able to create this bug on other hosts as well?
6) How can we re-create this bug? (Are there any simple steps to reproduce?)

I will be posting the bugs that were previously reported by you guys here tonight.

OK, Ive got another bug - Im using Ableton Live 6.0.1 on a 2.6 Ghz P4 w/ 512 RAM. What happens is that I cant save presets as .fxp because Live crashes when I try to do this now. So now, Ive got no clue how to use my own presets... I dont know how to recreate this bug and I havent tried this in any other hosts as I dont have any other ones.

Another bug that happenned to me was that projects with Synthmaster inside of them would not load and would crash Live every time. Refer to the post above for specs and etc.

So now, Ive got no clue how to use my own presets... I dont know how to recreate this bug and I havent tried this in any other hosts as I dont have any other ones.

To save your own preset, right click the mouse, choose Save->Preset!

I'll take a look at the save as fxb issue.

I just want to remind about randomize preset bug...it mutes sound and causes crashes
It would be nice to fix that

Standalone full version not working on my old system

Project 5 v2 shuts down when user tries to open SynthMaster.

In Orion Platinum, the GUI opens and user gets a message about buffer size not being a multiple of 16. User tried several buffer sizes without success.

Energy XT related issues:

SM into xt itself = xt shut down upon load
SM into xt sequencer = seemingly fine
2x SM into xt sequencer with 1 playing = seemingly fine
2x SM into xt sequencer with 2 playing = instant xt shutdown

User tried the preset generator and met with infinate exception error boxes appearing, and had to end xt with task manager...

It crashes eXT (1.4) too, about 10 times in a row. At first only when user added a second instance, but right now everytime user hits the play button.

Cant get it working properly with Renoise 1.8. It shows up alright and it doesn't crash, but the preset-menu in the left side isn't showing so there's no presets...?

Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce this one. Saving as fxp worked fine.
