I have just installed 2.6 and it instantly crashes Cubase 64bit when I add it into a project. No problem with Cubase 32bit - works fine.

Is this a known issue? If so please advise any fixes/workaround/suggestions
cheers

Sent a message to support a few days but never got a reply - anyone else have any ideas? cheers

No this is not a known issue, as our sound designers are also using the Cubase 64bit I know for sure.

Could you possibly try installing the 64bit from scratch?

I mean after deleting

c:\documents\common documents\synthmaster

folder?

Let's see how it works!

Please let me know,

Just tested with Cubase 6.5 Demo. It is working fine...

I remember that there were some GUI issues with the 64bit though, if you open up more than 1 instance GUI at a time. I guess that has related to GDI+ engine, and so far I couldnt identify the root cause :(

OK cheers - will give that a try when I finish my current batch of projects - don't have time at the moment for a C7 reinstall - will advise any outcome

I have exactly the same problem.
Synthmaster crashes and brings Cubase 7.5 (64bit) to crash also.
The window (Cubase and synthmaster) freezes but I can play and hear the default sound.
What can I do? The Synthmaster Player works fine...

I spoke to the makers and he said to delete the following and if you lose Synthmaster afterwards then reinstall and it will work fine.

Documents/Common documents/SynthMasterTemp
Documents/My Documents/SynthMaster
