I recently bought Synthmaster (2.8.7) and I was wondering if I have to pay for 2.8.8, or version 3? How many upgrades am I eligible for? What's your policy here?

As far as I know or understand, I think there is going to a $30 charge from whatever version of 2.(x) to version 3. All those between will continue to be free.

Can anybody confirm this? I hit a little UI snag (I put in another topic) and I really hope that will be resolved in a next 2.x edition, and that I can have that version for free. It's basically about getting a good product in the end.
For serious upgrades I'm not afraid to pay something if it's a fair policy. In that regard I'm a little spoiled by Image-Line's lifetime free updates, but I'm not a snob, I don't mind to pay up
