Does anyone know anyone that does sheet music for pan pipes for someone just
starting off on the instrument?

Also, any other advice would be really appreciated. I have a friend and she just loves her new little pan pipes. They aren't great quality, but she has got the bug and would like to buy some better ones in a while.

Can someone recommend a good manufacturer. Any things to look out for? Bad habits not to pick up at the start - you know.

I told her she must get a little Fender Mustang Amp or something like I have to put some fx through it (when she learns her scales like a good girl of course).

Also any good resources for a beginner would be nice.

In short, a crash course in pan pipe playing for the serious beginner.

Plus, if it isn't asking too much, could anyone recommend a nice microphone to run this through. I've been looking long and hard for myself and have got my eye on an Audio Technica AT2020 for vox and acoustic personally, but would that be good for Pan Pipes too?

Lots a questions. Any answers greatly appreciated.
Btw, I told her I wouldn't help her if she was going to play 'new-age' music.
She said: "Oh no, I have been invited to join a death-metal band". What a girl!

:-o

Just when you think the weird can't get any weirder.

Thanks.

Found this little amp that might make her practice a bit more interesting:

She's in Europe so maybe a bit cheaper for carriage.

Anyone used one?

cheers.
