Hi guys,
as i´m struggling to get my knowledge about music theory ahead i´m hitting quite a lot of walls. I know there are no real rules - but just help me out here.
i discovered this song from stimming - cherry bud
It´s a very simple but beautifull piano piece.
Here the chords to play along: http://chordify.net/chords/stimming-che ... hillipx100
so it´s: Cm, Fmaj, Am, Ab, and then switches to Fm, Gm, Ab
So my problem with this....while i guess it´s in the key of Cm the scales doesnt´really fit the notes in the chords. So while breaking the "rules" quite a lot it still doesn´t sound very strange or of the usual..
How can it be that there is no real depiction of this progression in music theory...?
which scale is this song from Stimming???

The simplest explanation is to say that there are some borrowed chords from C major in the C minor progression. Slipping back and forth between the minor and major.
