Suddenly those frowns are upside down! Smile

I gave the demo a little run-through. Worked well, except the first note of percussive instruments gets clipped a bit (but not after initial playback), and I crashed Cubase when trying to load a rx2 file. I dig that browser though! The paramaters all seem a little small and tight to me, but I'm going to really test it out, see if it's worth it. $99 is very cheap, of course, especially considering the format import and capabilities.

:)Good it's out, not so good that the $79 deal with FL seems to have vanished. Sad

I thought it was $79 for the FL version, $99 for the VSTi version, no?

Well, Image Line sells Sytrus and Slayer2 with the VSTi bundled free, and I had assumed the same applied here. Many someone will tell us before too long. Question

It's a nice little sampler, no doubt about it. Wink

It was a temporary offer that was supposed to last until the 30th of December.

It was $79 for the FL version ... until the VSTi version came out
and you're indeed getting both FL & VSTi versions.

Ah, I didn't know the $79 deal was time-dependent. Oh, well...

I have a question about DirectWave...does it's proprietary format embed the samples with the program, or are they placed in a seperate location, to be recalled by the program later?
Just curious, as I'm thinking of buying it to support the DWP format for my sample conversion service.

Thanx

Peace,

Cool

You have the option to either :

  • Use 'Total Recall' : saving the audio/wav data in/with your patch/preset
  • Not use 'Total Recall' : saving the audio/wav data as separate wav files
