Wusikstation V3.0.0 is ready for Download. Both Full and Demo versions.
We have also set new Prices and Packages for upgrades and new users.

Notice that until V3.1.0 it won't have all features planned for this version.
Considerer this the first V3 release. We are still working on new features and updates.
We will keep those under the special private BETA V3 Forum.
The current V3.0.0 is stable and safe for everyday usage.
All V3.x.x will be free to V3 users.

V3.0.0 Release List:

• Insert effects per Layer. Besides the current FX1 and FX2, you will have 6 new options. iO1, iO2, iO3, iO4, iW1, iW2.
  
• File Search (works for all files) F3 Shortcut
  The search is done on the selected directory and all sub-dirs inside.
  If you select a Root directory, it will search everywhere. (inside the DATA\*** folder)
  
• Preset Favorites - Saves/Loads user presets
  
• Preset Word Search. This will search for the entered word inside preset-files.
  EG: You want to find all presets that are named Piano, but also uses samples named Piano.
  Or you want to find files with Arabic tunning, just type ARABIC.
  
• Extra Envelope options: Exponential (x1 and x2), Inverted Exponential (x1, x2 and x4) or Linear Mode. (right-click on AmpEnv/ModEnvs)
  
• Amp Envelopes can be LINKED now. (right-click on AmpEnv)
  
• Option to add new elements on the GUI for V3 skins, while still been able to load V2/V1 skins.
  For those cases, it will use Right-Click menus to access new objects. (as stated above)
  
• New customizable Tool Tips code. (uses a TXT file for customization)
  The new Effects SDK also allows to add ToolTips on Insert/Send Effects now.
  
• Master Unison, affects all layers. (monophonic only)
  
• Both the Midi-Learn and Automation codes were optimized.
  
• Pitch-Bend is now sent per channel using the Multi-Timbral settings found over the Configuration-Page.
  
• EQ default values are all centered now. Also, they will display -1 to 1, instead of 0 to 127.
  
• Changing Wavesequencer destination no longer erases the data.
  
• Layer Midi Channel now shows on the Layer section.

• Stereo Bit Quantizer (Distortion)
  
• Stereo Double Distortion (64 bits 2x oversampled)
  
• 3 Tap Mono to Stereo Delay/Echo

Note, the following features will be released for V3.1.0:

• Modular Filter Design, using a similar SDK that was used for the Effects Area.

• New Mod-Matrix options: Add, Multiply and Simple-Script
  
• Disk-Streaming.

If you PreOrdered V3, just use your Download-URL and get the file named "V300_Update.exe" - that's the official V3.0.0 updater. It will install a new skin called "V3 Red" that will show the new features. Soon we will update the other skins by request, once V3.1.0 is out.

Skin Designers, wait until we release the final V3.1.0 skin updates, as the new Filter SDK will reflect changes on the skin too. Those will be the final changes.

is there a full install available or is it still required that V2 be installed before running the update?

We still don't have a Full GOLD package installer. This will take some time to be ready. For now keep V2 and use the Update.

I just updated the UPGRADE page. Now there is an option for upgrade from all previous version-packages. V1, V2 and even the initial V3 packages.

I will try the V3 demo soon. It does look really nice. Excellent work WilliamK! I hope I will manage it to run in EXT2 under Linux somehow.

The packages have changed! Being a gold purchaser will I get access to Platinum (seems most similar to my list)? Platinum appears to be the price that gold was going to be.

Actually no, the Platinum package has the ElektroWusik sets I and II. V3 GOLD users still have the GOLD package. If you want the ElektroWusik sets, just purchase those instead of upgrading, to avoid having to download 2 Gig of sounds.

What about Drumillenium ? Do GOLD users get that too?

Don't confuse the GOLD Package with the Platinum package. The GOLD package was sold to V2 users for 59.95, while the Platinum upgrade is 99.95. If you guys want the extra sounds, just purchase those individualy. Otherwise, its a 2 Gig download.

very nice!...been waiting for v3 to be completed for a while (i pre-purchased v3 gold from v2)...ok, so the only difference between gold and platinum is the electro sound sets? can i assume wusikstation will be a stable concept for the conceivable future and that all we need do to keep current is keep up with the sound sets?
