Jack the Bodiless - Julian May Love

I bought and read the Sage of the Exiles years ago, and loved them. I had a lot of trouble finding Intevention, which bridges the Saga with the Galactic Milieu Trilogy. When someone bought the latter for me, I started looking for Intervention in earnest, and now I'm feverishly devouring the Trilogy HiHi

Finished reading the Harry Potter series in reverse and started again reading them from the beginning. Halfway through Goblet of Fire, and decided to take a break. The Missus bought me a couple of Dan Brown (DaVinci Code) books, so I'm on the second one, 'Deception Point'

Seriously? Did you read the first in the series twice, back to back?

well, no..after reading them in the wrong order, once I finished the first one, began reading them in the original sequence. Which I admit, has been a bit tiring having read them so recently. It was more like building up anticipation for reading 'Order of the Phoenix' and 'the Half-Blood Prince' again. Those two books are outstanding!

Just finished reading "The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco (excellent!!), and am awaiting "Focault's Pendulum" by him to be delivered.
Keeping myself occupied by re-reading "To the Lighthouse" by Virginia Woolf (which I have been reading for what seems like an eternity!)

Me too ... only I'm listening to the Deception Point audio cd in the car. Does this count as "reading" Wink

Been reading a slew of detective/lawyer novels lately

Ooh! I picked that up yesterday. I absolutely loved the film, but apparently it does the book little justice as there are tons of different themes covered in the book.

Indeed Smile The actual murder mystery is more of a plot device for Eco to discuss quite a lot of themes about religion, justice, and ethics.

Its still very exciting though Very Happy

Its also got an introduction which is very much like "Tlon, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius" by Jorge Louis Borges as well

And the last in the series ("Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"), is due out July 21st. Yay!
