G'day all,
Hard to put my finger on it, but is the search only going back so far now, or something? It doesn't seem to be returning as many results as I expected...  ---- I've joined Lurkers Anonymous. |

Yes, the "Forum Search" only goes back to some time in January 2007 for now.
Although it is hard to pin the Google search down to a specific forum or poster it does offer the power of Google if you know the syntax. http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/help/basics.html http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/help/operators.html The main problem with the Google search is that new posts aren't indexed (and who's to say how much is indexed in total!). |
