Very nice melodies and good beat. It sounds fine: it's really breathing.
Well done Cheers |

Laguna is right: it's airy and makes instantly happy.

Not bad for a WIP track, but this one makes a great 'base template' for a future remix. The most important parts are yet to be added - some strings, pads and the 'almost mandatory' brassy synth And Max is right - the 'Oriental flavor' is prominent. The 'eastern parts' sound somewhat like a remixed, slow version of a part of E. Honda's ending from Street Fighter II. This could be turned into a great, kicking Italo Disco track,or a nice Japanese Anime-style opening theme (complete with female Japanese vocals). |

Nice to have yet another MIDI remix contest I'll see if I can turn this MIDI file into something more interesting (W.I.P. = work in progress,a track/project that's not yet finished/far from complete) Last edited by softsynth on Tue May 01, 2007 12:23 am; edited 2 times in total |

The only thing I didn't like about this song was the chromatic stepdown bits - otherwise I enjoyed it quite a bit. |

This is rather interesting. I'd like to have a bit of a play with it myself. Where did you get the drumkit from? It doesn't match GM. |

thanks for the comment, this is acually interesting as those chromatic stepdown bits is what made me feel the melody more groovy in the first place, matter of listening history I guess |

it's a custom map on DK+, but it's quite simple: from c#1 to f#1 are the various snares, g1 is the hi-hat , c1 bassdrum http://www.dashsignature.com/mp3/Italy_Disco_in_Du b.mid |
