How about a bluetooth (wireless) 7" touchscreen as a VST control surface?

    5 inch Touch Screen
    400 Mhz Processor

    Home charger
    Headset
    Mounting bracket
    Carrying bag
    USB cable
    BlueTooth connection
    TMC/RDS
touchscreen + USB + "AV in" to watch movies + bluetooth all means to me that this is a handheld, touchscreen monitor that could be, unless I'm misunderstanding something, used for live VST control.

I cannot read the manual as it is in French.

Repurposed technology at its best if it should work.

It transmits audio via bluetooth for Jove's sake!? It has a mic built in... can you say audio-to-midi control surface interface?

Where's a friendly Francophone when you need one?

I use one of these to control my wife:

So it should work for vst control also.
I'm not sure if it works for mac though....

But seriously, these mentioned option might work for sure.

I was under the impression that the midi/dmx light controllers can not transmit midi for sequencers?

Since I discovered Tablet2Midi and the Lemur Ive been DREAMING of something like this...

You need not dream. You just need to somehow get at the sweet stuff they use every day in Taiwan and Indonesia. :( Stupid Americans and our ludicrously backwards tech pricing.

I would not recommend purchasing the VDMX192 without more details. Traditionally, DMX lighting controllers that have MIDI support will allow MIDI In to control lights, and not allow the DMX sliders to be sent out MIDI Out.

Out of my pricerange by about 8x but if you are a rich musician go buy one of these and immediately take it onstage. Breathtaking.

They emailed me back within about 5 minutes with the price. It is probably worth it should you roll like that.

The technology that can shrink the world should have already done a great job of it. Why is it still a big deal to get graymarket electronics?

I suppose you heard about that ?

But anyway, thought there are 120 pages in the pdf, tell me what parts you want to be translated.
