I read the request of VeXKoN about two outputs and it's a good thing.
But in fact, which would interest me is an audio output for each section of the gate (what makes three outputs HI - MID - LO) to mix them independently in Live 6.0.7. For example, in the "Lm4MarkII", with which one can recover the various outputs on various tracks, I also use there "SooperLooper" in the same way. In fact, in Live, the outputs of these plugins are found listed in the control panels of the inputs and the outputs section of each tracks (exactly in the inputs section of each tracks) Thanks again for this really huge software. Thanks to you!
It's almost ready to be released. I think it needs a bit of testing before we can release it officially (but it should work 100%), so if you would like to try it please email me at aldo (AT) araldfx.com with your AraldFX user's name. Specify if you want the MAC/VST or PC/VST version, and within some hours I'll be sending it by email. BTW, it's a relatively small file. There are 6 stereo outputs. The first 3 are for the low, medium and high band (Gated) The other 3 are for the low, medium and high band (original minus gated signal) Because it works just like the normal StormGate3, if you simply want to distribute the signal of each band over the 2 outputs, remember to set the Dry and Wet controls to the same level (CTRL+click should do the trick), and move the Dry/Wet control to full Wet. |

Have I get this right?
Separate outputs for each band consisting of:- 1 stereo "wet" signal - gated/distorted etc. for each band + 1 stereo "dry" signal - ungated/undistorted signal for each band This is even better than I expected - I wasn't expecting separate wet and dry outputs for each band aswell!! Fantastic!! Email re. testing this version sent. Thanks Aldo!! ---- ![]() |

Plug-ins sent... however this version of StormGate3 sends the signal that the gate removes to the additional outputs (the last 3.
So the gating envelope can be seen as a balance control between the primary and secondary output of each band. If you wish to use StormGate3 as a regular cross-over, you should move the dry/wet control to full dry and use only the first 3 outputs. By stopping the sequencer you are also going to save some CPU as well. |
