Program Changes work great ! Thanks for this feature. Another "feature" I'd like to see - or at least understand if not possible - is the ability to save ALL presets in ONE go to the new .vstpreset format of Cubase 4. Let me explain: When you load a VST in Cubase 4 you can usually select presets by Cubase' own internal menu. Since Cubase 4 part of this menu is to "convert patch-list to VST presets". What it actually does is saving all presets to it's new format and makes them available in MediaBay. The problem with Zebra is (not only Zebra, but a few other VSTs as well) that this option doesn't show up. The only workaround would be to save every single presets individually, which is a nightmare considering manually naming and saving thousands of sounds. I'm not sure what the problem is and why this option is not available when using Zebra. I tried to explain the same in the Tone2 forum (happens with their software as well), but I didn't get an answer on the actual issue. Maybe you, Urs, know why Cubase 4 is so selective and makes this option available to some, but not all VSTs. Any idea ?
Thanks, bM3w |

MIDI program change works fine. Adding the bank change would be great. Then one could just relocate all of their Zebra patches into the MIDI program change folder and then use their MIDI controller to browse through all of the patches. Thank you. |

Really stupid question time.... where is the GUI resize option? I've installed it correctly (and shows up with the right version #) but cannot see the option anywhere. |

Just like in MFM2, there should be a little rectangle called [look]. It's right next to the word "Zebra" in the very top of the gui. It's of course not yet in the 3rd party skins. Hmmm... maybe I'm gonna write the Z2 skin creation guide today... |

$200 has never gone so far in terms of service, reliability, and features, in music or anything else. Thank you Urs! ![]() |

Maybe you have it installed the new one to Program Files/u-he/ but have an older one installed to Vstplugins/u-he/Zebra2.data ? |

OK, got it, Urs. I removed everything and installed from scratch. I think in my prior installation I had probably had it putting the skin data in the prog files directory. So, I can see the Look and Info buttons now.
Thanks |

Dumb question! How do I perform program change in say Sonar 7, Live, eXT2, FL Studio or Tracktion 3? I don't recall ever being able to use it before. |

I just learned how it's done in Sonar 7, Tracktion 3 and FLS8. Sonar 7 was the best. Works very well!
Thanks URS! |

So we have two known bugs/flaws:
- Patch Meta information would be good to have with Program Changes - The effect of XYs shortly goes to zero while one adjusts the affected parameters I hope to have that fixed/added soon, but all engines are running hot for Musikmesse where we'll have a nice & fluffy booth again! Later, |

In the beta 3, when I select the "cute" gui size, none of the top row buttons (look, info, presets, etc.) respond to mouse clicks, although the lower parameter knobs do.

Is that in C4/OSX? - I've noticed that the OS X VST can be slightly displaced (depends on hosts) when resized, moving a little portion of the gui outside the mouse-sensible area. If this setting is saved with song, you can open/save/close the project using the old version to restore the "normal" gui. It should stay normal when you come back to the new version. |
