thanks for the crash reports we'll try to fix that ASAP. And don't hesitate to send detailed report to publicbeta@uvisoundsource.com
as for livecut 1.0, yes it's still planned and completely redesigned (both UI and dsp) but things go slowly since I'm doing it only during spare time... |

I have a debugger crash text file that I'll send over from my Sonar crash.

Does the 85mb Download already come with some sort of Factory SoundBank? I would sure hope so it is 85mb. What else would take up that much space other than Samples/Patches? If the Engine itself is 85mb without any Sounds/Samples then that's a Joke. |

It comes with a tutorial soundbank. But for the actual demo bank you need to download the one that is 480MB or so.

on my quad-core PC, stand-alone worked ok. Played REX files from Sonic Reality ok. Played around with the Demo soundbank. Ok, but nowhere near as good as the free Kore bank, IMO.
hosts: 1) crashed Energy XT 1.4 upon instantiation 2) crashed Energy XT 2 upon instantiation 3) crashed Tracktion3 during VST scan. Relaunched Tracktion, it was in the ignore list. removed from ignore list, rescan...crash 4) Sonar 7 PE - never got Sonar to recognize it after repeated tries 5) Reaper 2.x (latest) - same as Sonar How did the other Sonar uses get Sonar to see it. I did repeated scans, moved it in and out of directory, etc. Is it named something weird in the list of all plugins and I'm just not seeing it? I don't understand how a company that has made good solid VSTi's in the past can release something, even a Beta, that doesn't seem to work in any VST host! |

question, does this have anything to do with the ultimate sound bank company? |

Instant crash of FL8 here, too. Nice to see a re-written graphics system, since the last one was buggy as shit on every PC I tried.
Hopefully this thing will actually get bug-fixed, so I can use my Synths Anthology and Plugsound Pro sounds ... since I did pay for them. Usually when a "public beta" is announced, that's after the "internal beta". But then, what do I know? ~Stu |

Crashed Everything as VST - runs ok as stand alone and I like but...not a good start if you want people to take it seriously Crashes: KORE FL8 Tracktion 3 Cubase4.1 Phrazor XT2 Live 6,7 Reaper Major issues it seems when not one host will load it...or maybe just a bad build? ---- If you read the constitution, You hear better http://soundcloud.com/section-d-records www.soundclick.com/theresistanceband |
