UPDATE:
As mentioned we work with the "soft eLicenser" protection system for our products BLUE, Predator, RG, SubBoomBass and RP-VERB. A eLicenser dongle is optional and during a regular install, the license is placed on your hard-disk. FAQ: - If you have a new computer and do not use a dongle, you will need to request a re-activation code if you want to use your plugins on this new computer, activation code can only be used once. You can request a new code at the support section at robpapen.com after you have register your plugin - If you update to the latest version of our plugins from an older version, the "License" is not affected so there is no need to re-enter again the activation code or request a new one, if a box pops up asking for a new code during installation, close it down. Tip: - If you plan on getting a new computer and want to do this a better way. Purchase a dongle! http://www.robpapen.com/rp-dongle-syncrosoft.html Why? Even if you do not like to use it on your computer, it helps you to transfer the licenses from the old computer to the new one. It "saves" allot of time. The latest version of "eLicenser" offers the option to "drag" and "drop" a license from your computer to the dongle and then to your new computer. In short it works like this: - plug in the dongle into your old computer, and drag and drop the license to this dongle. - run the installer of the product on the new computer and plug in the dongle into this new computer. - drag and drop the license to this new computer soft e-licenser. The license is now stored on your hard-disk and no need to use the dongle any more. So even if you dislike having to use a dongle on your computer, it can help you to work "without" one. Greetings Rob Ps. latest version of eLicenser Control Centre can downloaded here http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html |

Hi Rob / Jon,
Just got Blue 1.8.5 downloaded and installed, but Cubase 4.5.2 cannot 'see' it. I did rename my old Blue DLL to 'Blue 1.8.1.1.DLL' which Cubase picks up fine, and I am using a Quadcore PC - I guess Cubase is already using these cores (as I've read on some other posts on cubase.net). The Intel C++ libraries installed (for the multicore support), but am I doing something wrong here? Please let me know, as I'm getting into Blue quite a bit more now designing new presets for myself plus when I've built enough may develop a couple of packs too. Good luck with Blue 2 as well (sounds juicy ---- feelin' the VSTi's but always will feel my sexy lil minx |

Hi Rob, I've spoken to Jon over email (via your website support ticket) and also confirm that single core works fine, multi-core seems to be the issue. Currently using 1.8.5d single core version, will be playing with it later.
thanks for the response, I did do the list as mentioned, but 1.8.5multicore keeps getting VSTblacklisted and Jon is aware. Keep up the good work - hows the Masterclass DVD going? ---- feelin' the VSTi's but always will feel my sexy lil minx |
