AAS seems to be giving this Strum Acoustic Session away for free, I received a license key for it via email but have not installed it yet, i am interested in opinions of others. I was not crazy about the audio demo's of the full version but never downloaded the vst-demo to fairly evaluate it.

PS. They seem to be having a sale on their bundles aswell. AAS is a good company indeed, but i am a bit disappointed in the slow development of Tassman while they continue to release other products. I do believe Tassman has seriouse potential if further developed in the right ways.

Firebird+ is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

What do you mean they're giving it away for free? To whom? Anyone?

It may only be for owners of their other products who are on their mailing list. I nolonger own any of their products but still am on the mailing list.

Actually, I got it now. Neato!

I wish they were offering individual discounts on the items from the modeling collection. $350 is a decent price if you like everything, but I don't care much for String Studio or Strum.

Anyway, thanks, AAS for this nice little gift.

While we're (sort of) on the subject, I have a question for some of you more seasoned AAS customers:

With the modeling bundle, it that 5 seperate licenses, or one bulk licnese? If I could resell just the licenses for String Studio and Strum, I would be all over this sale they have going. But, I am only interested in UA, LL, and Tassman, and for the price, it is slightly more than I would want to pay for the 3. If anyone knows, I would appreciate it. I realize I could/should ask AAS, but I pretty much know what they would say. Thanks!

Well, if you pretty much know what they would say... as far as breaking up the bundle goes, the ultimate answer comes from them and not our opinions.

Well, I'm not looking for opinions. I'm looking for someone who knows. I don't know what they would say, but I can imagine the carefully worded reply. I'm not trying to be lazy here--just thinking maybe somebody already knows from experience.

I don't know whether they do but I just thought that I'd point out that (purchased separately) the license for Tassman alone cost $349, UA is $199 and LL is $229. In other words, the bundle costs less than any 2 of products you mentioned alone even though you get all 3 of the ones you want (along with the 2 you don't).

When i owned the Modelling Collection i did not buy the whole collection in the beginning but started with Tassman, then i bought String Studio, then i upgraded to the whole collection at a good price and got the remaining Ultra Analog and Lounge Lizzard. I was allowed to resell all the plugins individually and believe this is the case for you to but you will want to verify first before buying.

Okay, thanks for the info. I will definitely drop them a line to double-check before I make any decisions, but I may not be able to until the weekend, because I don't want to email from my work address (hence why I asked here first). Anyway, thanks for the info. If this is the case, I will certainly get in on this deal.
