.. well, ...NOT 'lol', then..just wanna apologize if i caused the hassle.
i went off worried i should post again, and qualify. anyway, it was like a bomb going off.
bit dumb of me not to simply post an amended text file. just wanna make clear
it wasnt any kind of direct request and that it was identifying stuff that
looked unfamiliar, to all, maybe - if you've got names to google, no problem,
but if you don't even know they exist..? over several years, i've downloaded regularly from a load of freeware sites, googled it all, and figured i'd found most of what's around. but over the last..6-7?months or so, there's been so much stuff, really haven't a clue what's in there, across cd's dvd's drives..so the last couple of days ( raining hard )were spent putting plugins into dev folders..definitely worth it, eidenk definitely put the work in. and jimi too: thanks: you've amended all of our 'lists'considerably. some new/old stuff has
guardian of the archive, innit.
as for that *.se1, how about installing the 0.961(?) releae of SE, or whichever
was the last to spit out the *.dat files as it saved. don't think it's to do with w98, as i changed version recently on my gak machine, and it stopped making
the *.dat file and folder ( with xp). try to find the creation date of the file, and load a suitable version of synthedit that will take the file, providing it isnt missing any commercial modules. you may then be able to resave, and load into v1.0x version of SE that doesnt produce the dat file.
