NastyCS is (simplified) a combination of NastyLF and NastyHF filters extended with two mid-range BootEQ filters plus LP/HP (and different distortion plus add. limiting).sinkmusic wrote:Cowabunga !
I use NastyCS quite often, could you tell in what way does BootEq (the eq section) differs sonically from NastyCS ?
BootEQ the other way around is completely different in the LF/HF section and offers minimized curve warping near Nyquist and way more detailed and smooth non-linearities (due to the new pre-amp section).
