It would be cool to do something (sampled soundset) with the old Casio series of synths CZ 101, CZ1000, etc. 
I saw this old thread having to with a synth someone had started that would emulate that line of synths, but it didn't pan out I guess. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=219337 |

BRoffMarsh has a Casio CZ emulator with Filter and Overdrive. It's called Cosmo 201 and is part of SSP 1 ... 7 synths and 5 effects for $7.50 AUS

You might also like to try Cosmo SE by Xoxos and Kassiopeia! by Sonic Assault.
