I can commiserate with the original poster.
I too have some sneaking suspicions. I was having a beer with two of my friends the other evening and this very subject (spousal infidelity) was raised. One of my friends was very concerned that his wife was having an affair and he was certain that it was with the local baker. When we asked him why he suspected this person, he replied that he had been finding a lot of flour in the conjugal bed lately and that his wife never baked anything. This got my other friend to thinking and he suddenly slapped his forehead and groaned "oh no". When we asked him what was going on, he mentioned that lately he had found a lot of soot on the sheets and perhaps this was a sign that his wife was having an affair with a chimney-sweep. Now, I trust my wife implicitly, but all of this talk about infidelity and possible evidence got me to thinking. I announced to my two friends, that as funny as it may sound, I think that my wife is having an affair with ... a horse ! When they asked me why I would ever think something as outlandish as that, I explained that I followed their exemplary logic as the last two nights, when I came home from work, I found a jockey in our bed. *rimshot* *exit stage right* |

Lothario not only wants to "borrow" the wife, he also wants to borrow the guitar amp!? Now that's balls. Or maybe the wife was just a way to get closer to the amp... I noticed that too...bad syntax? ---- Snare drums samples: the new and improved "dither algo" |

An article about fixing tubes ? Peter. No - the whole joke is a direct copy of a letter that was in a guitar magazine last month. I'm not saying the letter to the magazine was the original one - I'm just saying that the joke has been going around for a while. I about pissed myself the first time I read it, too Yeah, I read this one years ago. Still makes me laugh to read it again. --Sean |
