im not aware of a free one, if there is, expect to be (possibly)dissapointed..even the Arturia one isnt much cop (according to the stuff ive read anyway, cant say ive made a comparison myself)

Doesn't exist. The only emulation I know of is the Arturia JPV8 I think it's called.

The site is in german but you'll prob. figure it out.
Don't know how good they are, but since they look SynthEdit to me, I'd guess more inspired by then a proper emulation.

Not a Jupiter 8 but EFM has a pretty good Jupiter 6 emulation, its one of the better synthedit creations out there.

Sonic Projects OP-X and Gforce Imposcar are 2 of the best native Poly retro synths. Not free, but worth their asking price.
