I just want to say that I absolutelly adore the Homegrown Piano that we got in the latest groupbuy. It's so musical.. Love Excellent "space" piano sounds can be made with this. You really did a great job there Andy!

I read some time ago that you have a string synth somewhere in the pipelines too. I'm looking forward to it Very Happy

btw, Why isn't the current Astralis Groupbuy mentioned here anywhere? I want people joining this GB with me to get the price down! HiHi

Thanks !!

I'm surprised more than half the people in the group buy didn't pay in the end which has set me back a bit!

The next one along those lines is the Sitar, I didn't have any plans for a string one, but was thinking of guitars too, electric and acoustic at some point. The trouble is sales though, It is so hard to keep going with development, plenty of people grab the free stuff but not enough buy unfortunately.

I do love the piano too, I've been using the samples in my own music since 2001, I think it has a good mellow sound, the soundscaper adds a lot of ambient type possibilities.

If anyone has time to do some reviews on KVR that would be good! lol (I know you already did nice review Damien!)

As for the Astralis Group Buy, I always put those threads in the market place as they have a higher visibility than my forum, and if I posted here as well it would be considered double posting I think.

The GB should pick up once I get Bion released I hope, that will bring some exposure. I may even be able to get the scala Creator finished before the end of it.

thanks again!

That's really a shame that more than half of the people in the Groupbuy did not pay Shocked What were they thinking? Mad

With a string synth I actually meant a sitar/guitar. These are string instruments, right? HiHi But I understand the misunderstanding Wink

I hope the sales and GB will get better. It can't be the quality or price of the products that are causing the disappointing sales, that's for sure! I guess it's probably because HGSounds is a lesser known company and the products are not "mainstream" but more experimental sounding (and looking, because a lot people do find the GUI looks of a plugin almost too important) and probably some people are afraid of plugins made with SE.. Rolling Eyes Even though you write a lot of your own modules, bits and pieces!

Yes I know, surprised me, there was some from the first GB too, so I expected a few. I'm still learning Smile

aha, sorry I was off on a tangent!

thanks Nielzie, I should be able to get Bion released today which will hopefully increase the GB members somewhat!
