I've just noticed that I cannot play the Diversity soundset in Albino 3. I cannot load any of the patches. I reinstalled them and same problem. Very strange.
Any idea what is happening? Best, Gordon |

Any idea what is happening? Best, Gordon No idea actually. Can you provide more info? What's your setup like? How are you loading them? what version of Albino 3? what's changed since they last worked, etc. Peace |

My VST folder is on a different partition than my system but I have not changed the Albino folder at all. Other than the usual Windows updates nothing has changed since I last used them that I can think of other than that I have recently upgraded my hosts (Sonar, eXT2 and FL Studio). I load them in Albino 3.02 using the built-in browser. Cheers, Gordon |

Their just standard albino fxp files. I've tested the set myself here in FLStudio 9 and it loads fine. I suppose it's possible that the files somehow became corrupted. If you haven't already, delete the set you have installed and re-download the entire Diversity set from your user account. See if that solvs the problem. If it doesn't, I would recommend re-installing Albino 3. If that doesn't fix it we'll have to speak with Peter at Linplug to see if he has any insight on the issue. Oh...is it possible that the directory permissions changed somehow? Peace |

Hi,
I find that I can load them using the import multiprogam button "L" in Albino 3 to load them. Too many weeks away from making music I guess. This fixes the problem. Thanks for suggestions. These are some great sounds. Cheers, Gordon |

These are some great sounds. Cheers, Gordon Oooh. I see what's happening now. You were trying to load them using the browser as opposed to the L button, correct? That won't work because the browser only allows you to make use of a two-tiered directory structure, meaning that it will only allow you to select folders that do not have folders within themselves. Diversity is set up that way...the main Diversity folder that you place in the Albino Banks directory contains several folders (to categorize them all). Due to this, you have to load one using the L button first, then you can browse the Diversity folders using the built in browser. Of course, if you want to switch to the default directory, you'll have to use the L button again. Fortunately though, if you're not a fan of that method, you can simply move all the folders (ie: PS Agressive Basses, PS Aggressive Leads, and so on) out of the Diversity folder and into the main preset directory. Even though the some of the category names we used are identical to ones used in the factory set, the "PS" in front of the names should keep them from being overwritten/mixed together. Glad you like the sounds! Peace |
