Soooo often with delay effects, I find myself reaching for a reverb to make things a little softer ... and with reverb effects, I generally find myself with a less than flexible pre-echo.
Twin Engined Verb (TEV) is my take on solving this conundrum and provides two independent echo and reverb sections with crossover, enhancer and m/s capabilities. Oh, and its a full-on distortion-cum-noise-box too hope y'all like and use it ... use this thread for questions / suggestions / feedback / hints & tips / etc cheers daz Last edited by daz.diamond on Fri Feb 04, 2011 9:00 am; edited 2 times in total |

download updates :
1.0.1.9 - minor gui-glitch fixed 1.0.1.8 - stereo effect rather than multi-channel = for use in FL - presets now saved individually 1.0.1.7 - saving upto 8% cpu compared to (1.0.1.6) depending on load 1.0.1.6 - DC'09 revised deadline : plenty tweaks 1.0 - DC'09 deadline note : to install a newer version of TEV, you'll need to remove the previous version so as to "flush" your system and the host gets to see the new version as if for the first time. See later in this thread for Cubase not recognising newer version ... Last edited by daz.diamond on Sun Nov 01, 2009 2:30 pm; edited 4 times in total |

here's a quick tip -- use TEV as an enhancer without reverb or delay effect !
turn both echo times to 0ms set both room / echo mixes fully to the left TEV now operates using just the enhancer and filters sections ... and the wet / dry control becomes the NY control for what is effectively a side-band dynamics processor with balls |

Yay, it sounds nice and has a lot of parameters to play with. One remark (I hardly don't want it feel anywhere near a rant), I can't read mostly anything on 'display' on the right side, if it is dark font on white background, I can't read it, even if I stick my nose to monitor pane. Somebody should develop a vst magnifying glass for those on high-rez desktops.... |

congratulations & thanx for this very cool plugin I noticed something regarding the stereo image though, it sounds like everything come out in mono, I did check the manual & the Auxilliary controls, but even when I make sure that the output is set to stereo, & even though I then see the left & right meters move individually in the plug, I hear that the stereo width disappears & I see my host's meters behave as if it was a mono signal (in FLstudio, I'm going to try it in Reaper) ... maybe I'm missing something, but I just thought I should let you know ... |

thanks - possibly an issue with modules falling asleep under some condition or other ... I'll try take a look - is there any particular series of events that provokes this behaviour ?
cheers daz |

ok, it works fine in Reaper (it sounds awesome actually & there's no particular series of events that provokes this behaviour in FLstudio 9, I just open any instrument & put it through TEV & it happens ... I'm going to try in FLstudio 8 now |

FLstudio is something I have no experience of at all apparently there is a setting for "use fixed buffer size" that you might wanna try ?? cheers |

it's the same in FLstudio 8, & "fixed buffer size" didn't make it
(although it seems it gave more presence to the low registers for some reason) ... I saw something that might explain this behaviour, when I look in FL's Fruity Wrapper's processing window for your plugin, it says : Inputs : 1. Outputs : 1. L Out 2. R Out although when I look at the same processing window for other FXs, it only shows one Output, some just display : 1. & some others display 1. leftOut / rightOut ... & it seems that only some VST instruments allow multiple outputs, like Kontakt or Addictive Drums on my computer, but VST FXs only seem to have one stereo output ... I hope this helps |

I'm just setting about d/loading FLstudio's demo app - 181mb you are feeding TEV from a stereo source, right ? |
