Good morning,
Installed all of the Omnisphere sound files as prescribed(all 6 Discs) in installation directions from plugorama, along with the other 3 files and everything loaded into receptor OK (I thought). There was also an authorization process that appeared and after some trouble, it seemed to be complete.(Why do I have to authorize Omnisphere again? i already authorized it with Spectrasonics?) When I opened an Instrument track in Pro Tools 801, the Omnisphere appeared as the plugin of choice, but when a sound patch was selected, an error message appeared and stated that the "Core Library could not be located". Please advise and thanks. I will call support at Muse later today, but wanted to get a heads up from another receptor user that may have had a similar experience. frankielouis |

Hi Frankielouis,
I can't help you with this issue, as you're a few steps ahead of me... I'm hoping I won't experience the same Core Library issue, and will certainly keep an eye on this thread. I was wondering if you could have a look at my very recent post: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2678 40 And tell me if your Receptor Authorization of Omnisphere was smooth or complicated by any similar characteristics? Thanks, and good luck with your issue. J. |

Spectra gives this error when the library is installed in the wrong location (this is easier to do than you think, I have about 4 installs each of the entire line except Trillian, and this has cropped up a couple times), so scan the drive to locate and move it to the proper space (which you can probably find from the Spectra site.0 |
