all my settings are saved with ever update?

i have buggered up the ini & had to re do all my paths, (now i keep a backup of my .ini) but never has a update lost any of my XT2 settings (win & Mac tested only)

Subz
Did you use the autoupdater though?

I'm glad I'm still doing it with the zip, if the auto wipes the settings.

updated laptop with the updater no setting reset there Smile

Nope, same with pclos, and no problem with old betas, so i repeat - last two betas have some issues with wine on linux and e-xt cant start. And no, i do not want to use native version.

What version of Wine are you using? I'm using 1.1.30 over here.

Hi, I found one little bug:
I've added a reverb to one of the samples in the drum sampler.
When I load the project it resets the reverb to 100% (instead of the saved value). Hope it can be fixed.

I think there may be an imposter modding the XT forum!

or you just bought a dictionary ???

I believe he has a form of dyslexia so your comments aren't really welcome to be honest Wink
I'm fairly sure subz won't take it to heart though but still

Err, put my foot in it again.

Sorry Subs!

Thanks for letting me know NAS.

I have my own handicaps myself...

Apologies Subz - didn't mean to be a prick - even if I acted like one.

Cheers.

I have lots of "clicks" with this release. I don't have any with the previous versions. The CPU is not at the maximum. It doesn't happen in record mode, only when playing in "real time".
Anybody having similar issues?

Hello Subz...

Yeah, I definitely noticed an improvement.
That's why I said what I did.

Funny thing is, I always knew what you were trying to say.
You always got your point across in it's essence.
I never had a problem trying to understand what you were
trying to convey

Which is more than I can say for some other KVR members (no disrespect).
Smile

I meant no disrepect to you Subz, as an XT forum user, or an XT forum
Moderator.

I respect you greatly on both counts.
And I mean that.

I can be 'slightly' autistic sometimes in not spotting certain
patterns.
And I do feel a bit of a prick in not seeing your 'challenge'.

I'm glad you take it in such good spirit.
It helps me feel not so bad.
Which is important to me.

Anyway, keep using the spellchecker.
It certainly works a little bit of wonder. Wink

And anything that can make any of us get our points across, is
a good thing, I think.

I'll leave it at that mate (if I may be so bold).
And quit while I am 'slightly' ahead.
ahem.......

I'm a big fan of your XT moderating...
Doing a hard job, in an imperfect world...

So props to you...

Now maybe we can get down to some 'real' arguments,
without either of our 'drawbacks' getting in the way.

btw, I recently went through my HD, and was surprised
at the amount of 'top' tracks I had written as opposed
to Cubase or Ableton (both lite versions)...

but that is another story for another day....

I hope next time we will meet on equal ground.
Your reply gives me hope and I have no argument.

Thanks again for your reply Subz.
And I look forward to battles in the future Wink

cheers...

eh fandungo et drushit...

that might have been a leeltle bit rushed fellas...

but i was trying to watch Nick Griffin and the BNP on
QuestionTime....

Sorry if i got confused...

I think my manifesto was XT was the greatest sequencer that never was.
But is still the one i use the most.

Thanks for YOUR representations to the community..

Here's to many more sequences ahead...

(though i know you weren't neccessarily endorsing me, friends - but
what the hey - )

We're all still friends, hey fellas?

I'm sure if Subs can forgive me my transgressions, then you can
forgive me for my under-boiled petis-pois....

It's too late. And i really shouldn't be posting.
But seeing as you're game.........

As long as we know we are not enemies.
even if we can't be friends.

viva la XT.

(my french is f**ked out of the pot - and i don't know
why i am even trying to speak it. Lingua Franca.... n'est ce pas ???)

eh eh as +fravia would have said.

Then again, i don't suppose many of you would have known him....

C'est something.....

Here is to lost friends, most of you will have not known...

XT is a great sequencer to make international no.1 hits on.

My greatest fear is that whyte rabbyt will read this post....

Still he is A pretty humorous chap and forgiving in his humanity.
So maybe he will forgive me my transgressions as i forgive him.

I think i've just had too much to much to drink, really.
oops....

What was the question???...

Ah yes, I think everything will be OK.

Just get back to making music, y'all.

Everything is alright....

oh, and love, as +forseti would have said...
